Going for a walk in a forest or 'forest bathing', as Japanese call it, improves immune response. Scientists suspect this is due to the benefits of breathing in phytoncides - airbourne chemicals produced by trees to protect themselves from fungi and insects.
I keep telling people "Plant more TREES!' Now I can mention the additional health benefits (along with the extra oxygen, rainfall and place for a tree house).
