India and Bangladesh have been arguing over control of a rocky island for years. Now it's no longer an issue. Rising sea levels have swamped the island for good.

What interests me is that prior to 2000 sea level increase was estimated at 3mm per year. In the last 10 years it has almost doubled to 5mm per year. That's a staggering 1m ever 20 years! I would also guess that the trend is bound to be logarithmic so don't be surprised if the sea level rises even faster this decade.
