  Mass Destruction Anyone? New research in the Arctic show that methane locked on the sea floor is now bubbling to the surface at a rapid rate. Although small in comparison to the amount of greenhouse gas being added to the atmosphere by human activity it is significant and points to further methane "leaks" to come.
