What is Majellan?

Majellan is a Story-Telling or a type of Role-Playing Game:

The game involves 2 or more people (the more the merrier!). One person co-ordinates the game and that person is called the Referee / Games Master / Co-ordinator as you like. The rest have Characters; imaginary entities that each player influences in the world of Majellan. Each Character has a personality of its own, each player being the conscience or mind of that Character. The Referee describes what situation the Characters are faced with and the players respond in turn or as a group as to what their Characters do.

Majellan is a game of description; a story that is told by all the participants. The Referee weaves the skeleton of a tale while the Players fill in the substance. It's a team effort, not a competition. The object of the Referee is not to test or frustrate players but to give them settings, plots and themes within which the characters (as on a stage) act. The descriptions are the key, the game should be thick with imagery, sounds, smells and feelings. The player descriptions of their reactions to the situation should enhance, twist and turn the tale where they will.

The Majellan World Set on a planet over 200 light years from Earth and over 1500 years in the future, players can experience cultures vastly separated in technology and custom so that any scenario is possible. The world of Majellan has an intricate past and a changing future with twists of the unexpected. Weaving a tale where you are exploring the vast, alien and weird world of Majellan.
