Mass Destruction Anyone? News: Designer killers

The US is going to design killer organisms for military purposes. What these things will look like or do is the thing I'd like to know. Apparently they will have loyalty programmed in and an emergency off switch. Is it me or has no one seen Jurassic Park? click here to read the Wired article

Other Topics Organisms that can survive in space

There are more organisms from Earth that can survive in space that we first thought: lichens (of course), one or two larvae, hardy seeds and amazingly some insects. Have a read of this experiment that's taking place on the International Space Station: click here to read

Written Material News: DeathBag Cafe Scenario now available!

What could be more harmless? A simple street cafe where you can stop for a drink. But appearances are not what they seem, past the crummy exterior, glowering doorman and the ominous barista machine, evil plots are being hatched. Walk in off the street, sit down for a cappacino and risk your life like never before... This a Scenario for the Majellan RPG and can occur anywhere throughout the domed city of New London. It is a setting; a place; a dingy, dark and corrupt little cafe, and the events that unfold if anyone is foolish enough to enter into it.

Other Topics News: So that's what Crop Circles are made by...

Well, some of them anyway. Underground structures like old barrows, burial chambers, henges and so on. Much like the strange patterns in the grass I noticed at Greenwich park - which turned out to be caused by Roman walls below ground. These things interfere with the way plants grow - hence crop circles.
This came to light in the recent discovery of a massive archaeological site not far from Stonehenge in England. click here to read the National Geographic article
